Free in Jesus

Last week, God whispered to my heart “You are not free and I want you to be free.” I have never been confident in myself. In all honesty, call it introvert, shy and sensitive but I really don’t remember ever feeling completely free to be me. Growing up, I had all eyes on me once my dad got sick and I became someone every one seemed to have an opinion about once he passed away. Opinions on what, how and why I was doing and living my life. My hardest heartbreaks were centered around my relationships and loving too much, wanting too much, expecting too much from people I loved and trusted. (#enneagram2 anybody?) It is who I am but I began to shut down who I was in fear of someone else thinking I was too needy and too broken for them to handle. And I’ve been scared of it ever since. Why be you when it continues to break your heart?

I am here to tell you the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. And he will lie to the end of age to get you to believe you should be ashamed of who you are and hide in fear of it. Satan doesn’t want you to be free because he never will be. But Jesus came so that we may live life to the FULL. FULL of who we are in Him and free to be all He has made us to be for His Glory and His Honor.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Hiding in bondage and slavery to who the world says we are is discrediting Who God is as our Father, our Creator and our Lord. He made us in His Image. Not just our outside, our look, our appearance. He gave us the Heart of Christ, the Mind of Christ, the Eyes of Christ, the Hands of Christ, the Feet of Christ. Your personality, surrendered to Him, is exactly what you need to fulfill the purpose Jesus Christ gives you to live out His Promise in your life and the Promise of Christ to the entire world.

You are MADE ON PURPOSE FOR HIS PURPOSE IN HIS PURPOSE. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and we can live FREE in that. We can walk free knowing Jesus is everything in us we need to be His walking hands and feet, daughters and sons of the Most High God. We are free. Free in Jesus. Made new in Christ. Seen beautifully by God, created by Him and for Him. You are free. Be you in Him.
